A FANTASTIC weekend at Bowlero was topped-off with a great Championship match. In the Final match of the day, Molandro Divina overcame an early split to shoot 224 (243 w/hdcp). Bill Beauchere who had some great games leading up to the final (290-278), also overcame an early split and needed to strike out in the 10th for a tie with Mollie, only to fall just short. Mollie prevailed to win his second career 9-Tap Championship. The win was worth $1807 + a Hammer "Black Widow" bowling ball. Mick O'Connor took Top Qualifier honors and will receive a 9-Tap Jacket. We came very close to our 125 entry target and want to thank all that participated this weekend. We had a record 28 finalists that cashed this week, with a record $8016 total payout this weekend. For those that get the Tacoma News Tribune, the EQC Championship results will also appear in the Sports Section this Tuesday. Next tournament : April 7 at Hilcrest Bowl. Best 3 of 4 game tournament! |
