Another wonderful Gold Coast outing! 

We had another great day at Gold Coast, Louis and his crew did an awesome job keeping us going despite some computer program issues they had been having. 

We have officially taken out the 9am first squads as that time doesn’t work well. 

Scoring here at Gold Coast has been right on par every time we have been here.  With a low to cash at 675 up to a high at 760.  Our new member sign-ups are staying at a steady pace of 5-7 new members each tournament.  The number of re-entries is staying low.  We’ve also seen old members of the tour returning, which makes it fun for all.   

The 9-Tap Jackpot is starting to grow, it’s now up to $1530.00, but also is being challenged each week.  This week we had a couple hit the middle 4-5 but opened in the first frame to make them miss the Jackpot.  Along with having a new member make our cash list each tournament lately, which is giving more excitement.  Our Progressive Pot takes its challenges each week going up and down and is now sitting at $698.00 for the Sam’s Town shenanigans on the Feb 18th.

Once again, this week’s winner is no stranger to bowling or to our tour.  She has been with us since Nov. of 2015, and now has her 3rd Championship, as well as the only winner of the 9-Tap Jackpot a few months ago.  She is also our hero as she battles through life’s medical challenges.  

Ms. Ann McGee has now won her 2nd Championship since we brought the 9-Tap Tour back in Aug. 2023.  She won herself a Red Champion shirt back in Nov and now a White Champion shirt for her 3rd victory.  Congratulations, goes out to Ann McGee for once again fighting through being a little weak from her treatments.  As she said, “maybe it helped her to slow down and not bend over as much.”  (That right there goes to show you how sweet Ann is).  Ann is retired and does nothing more than go bowling, bowling, gambling and then she does some more bowling, lol.  After getting her shoes tied and using her ball of choice which this time was her Journy drilled by JB Bowling Supply.  She bowls in three leagues each at a different house, Santa Fe, Gold Coast, and Red Rock.  All her 9-Tap friends were there to cheer her on and she gives a very special thank you to the 9-Tap crew.  

This week, with his 3rd - 2nd place finish since Oct last year, Nice rolling Nick Kan! Your win isn’t far off, we see it!  Nick is one of the owners of the Garage pro shop in Pahrump, NV, and a tour sponsor.  Congrats again Nick, keep up the great rolling and company. 

3rd place this week is Jason Brown. He has been with us since the opener back in Aug. and placed in 8th. Jason has made the top 10 in 5 tournaments, with a best finish of 2nd place in Sept. 2023.
