We truly APPRECIATE all the support of our Members, for helping the Las Vegas Region to get off to such a GREAT START!!  We will continue to offer the FREE Memberships, expecting that many of our early Members will be able to achieve 'Life Member' status (5 referred Members) before the end of the year.  If you're not aware of what that means, our 'Life Members' NEVER have to pay the annual Membership fee... FOR LIFE.  We also want to THANK Becky and her crew at Suncoast for the breakdown free session and super service!

Saturday at Suncoast Bowl we had an AWESOME competition, which saw the lead change hands multiple times throughout the day.  The bowlers enjoyed the 'Best 3 of 4' format and appreciated being able to toss-out the worst game.  We will repeat the 'Best 3 of 4' format roughly every 5th Tournament, depending on the Centers ability to provide a large enough time window, that allows us to have 4-Game squads.  Our 2nd LV Tournament showed a really positive sign for the future, with TWENTY-FIVE more new Members joining the Tour this week.  If we keep multiplying at this pace, we'll catch the Puget Sound Region (Seattle) even sooner than we hoped.  We're also trying to 'learn on the fly' and found out Saturday that 9:00am squads may not be our most popular option.  We have a few more 9:00am start times on the schedule, so we'll keep an eye on the future support for that time slot.  The scores at SunCoast were pretty much right on target, meeting our goal of 'Not Too High & Not Too Low' scores.  The 720 series 'Cut-Line' put the Cash List within reach of anyone averaging roughly 20 pins above their average.  We also try to provide an opportunity for every skill level to have a equal chance.  We watch the diversity of handicaps on the Cash List very closely... Saturday the TOP 3 finishers demonstrated that diversity, with a broad range of handicaps spanning from just NINE pins to SIXTY-SIX.

This week's Champion, John Garland really found 'The Groove' shooting a spectacular 845 series.  John got 'Lined-Up' in his first entry, tossing a very respectable 714 series.  At the end of that entry, John and his wife Judy struggled over the decision of whether to Re-Enter or not.  John felt like he had a good shot to improve on his score, so he took the plunge, capitalizing on what he learned the prior squad, he blew away the previous top score, winning by a hefty 29 pin margin.  John is not a Tour Rookie, he actually bowled with the Hawaii 9-Tap Tour years ago and remembered meeting Rob (PS Region Director) at a Tour event at Hickam Air Force Base (Oahu), about 10 years ago.  Hickam AFB was also the sight of John's best previous finish, when he took 2nd Place.  We appreciate that John is also a supporter of our Tour Sponsors, wearing his DEXTER 'BOA' shoes and throwing his STORM 'NOVA' ball, drilled by Mike at South Point Bowl.  Paying Bills is what John plans for his nice $968.00 Winnings.  Just like at Gold Coast, the Progressive Pot grew once again, thanks to less than $20 being put in the Pot... this time it was John (and 3rd Place) putting $10.00 into the Pot. That did limit John's earnings by $368.00, but it was a boost for the Pot for next weekend at Santa Fe.  CONGRATS JOHN on WIN #1!!! 

Our Second place winner joining the tour at Gold Coast Eldrin Aquino. Eldrin was very please with his bowling.  This lead him to take a pic in front of our Storm              Banner in case his great Scoring of 814 held.  Eldrin truly wanted to say and bowl, though work hours and sleep took priorty. 

We also had a great 3rd Place Scoring of 810 by Brenice Mea, who Joined the 9 - Tap Family at Suncoast.
